Good good links #2

Just taking a quick look at the title will tell you two things: 1. yes, I’m indecisive about how to name this new series on my blog and 2. it’s all about recent good reads again. Hope you’ll enjoy them, too.

Just a little hint: I actually got around to trying one of the recipes mentioned in my last link post. More about that on Wednesday :). Any guesses yet?

Good good [food for thought]

Pseudo-Recovery via Better with Sprinkles

Without a doubt the most thought-provoking post for me personally this week. It got me thinking about where I am right now a lot. Once I’ve sorted my thoughts a little more I’ll share them with you in the posts to come.

Why I’m no longer vegetarian via Girl Gone Veggie

While I don’t consider giving up vegetarianism myself I’ll definitely keep this one in mind.  Yet more proof of just how much our diet influences our life. Whichever diet you follow health should be top priority and Erin is an inspiration in making the right choice for herself and her overall well-being.

Good good [advice [of all kinds]]

9 blogging tips, tricks and/or tidbits via Running with spoons

Whether you’re a newbie blogger or have been ‘in the game’ for a while already: Amanda shares some good advice and things to keep in mind. [And no, she didn’t pay me in almond butter or baked goods for including her once more. Not that I’d be opposed to that, though ;).]

‘Rescue Remedy’ Lentil Pot   via Including Cake

I’ve been on a lentil kick again lately and this looks like pure unadulterated comfort food.

Happiness inducing today: Just randomly creating a delicious recipe I might have to share soon.

I loved Sam’s post about pseudo-recovery too. I think that stage sometimes gets overlooked in the blog world, so I’m glad she called attention to it.

And thanks for the link to those frozen banana PB cups. Those need to be made soon!

What you said about it being overlooked is so true. There usually seem to be the stages of suffering, recovery and being recovered. Distinguishing the fine line between recovering and being stuck in pseudo-recovery is important – for both the person in recovery and the environment.

These were some of my favorite posts this week too! Plus you introduced me to a few that I missed. Thank you!
And I can’t wait to see which recipe you tried out. I’m thinking maybe it was that banana bread? Hmmm…

    (:
