Good good links #8

Hi and happy Sunday! Did your weekends go well so far? For me there was lots of cozy candlelight and reading action to combat the dreary weather. But now isn’t the time and place to rant about rain – and really, how awful is rain when it’s the perfect excuse for an afternoon spent with a good book? And speaking of good reads here are some of my favourites from the week.

If you’ve ever made your own nut butter: which food processor do you use? I’m seriously considering the purchase of a Vitamix and need some advice.

  1. Heather @ Kiss My Broccoli says:

I use a small Kitchen Aid food processor for making my nut butter and it works great! I keep saying I want a Vitamix, but since I really don’t make many smoothies that my Magic Bullet can’t handle, I don’t really know that it would be worth the splurge. But I HAVE decided that this year, I’m asking Santa for a Kitchen Aid stand mixer! 😀

Love the links…ESPECIALLY the furniture one! That baguette bench is crazy! I really want the curvy shelf, and I think they should have made the ball sofa blue instead of red…much better conversation starter. Lol!

So, besides all the web-reading, how’s The Book Thief?
